Beneficial Bacteria For Ponds

Good bacteria address problems like high nutrient loads, heavy organic build up, and issues with ammonia and other byproducts of a pond that's out of balance.

In regards to pond algae control, bacteria is not like an algaecide where it attacks the growth directly. Instead it creates an environment that's less supportive of unwanted growth. In fact any plant that pulls it's nutritional support directly from the water may be affected by routine bacteria use.

And there's more good news. This is by far the safest pond treatment for fish, wildlife, pets, and people. There is virtually no way to overdose with this product even when using two or three times the recommended dosage so compared to chemicals it has a very high safety margin. In fact it's actually good for the environement.

We always suggest starting a pond rejuvenation process with bacteria and we prefer to combine with with pond aeration when possible. Other products like pond dye,ultrasound, and barley can work with bacteria just fine.
